To and from the Airport in Copenhagen
Copenhagen Airport is located only 20 minutes from the city. Frequent trains and buses connect the airport and the city. By suburban rail, you can reach the citys central railway station in 12 minutes for 16.50DKK. This makes it the fastest metropolitan rail link in Europe.
By taxi, the journey from the airport to the city centre takes around 25 minutes (depending on the traffic).

Copenhagen and the surrounding counties have 3 beaches with a total of approx. 8km of sandy beaches within 30 minutes
bicycling from the city centre. This includes Amager Strandpark, a 2 km long artificial island which opened in 2005
and is located just 15 minutes by bicycle from the city centre.
Copenhagen music and entertainment
The Copenhagen Jazz Festival, which takes place in summer, is a popular annual event that is the result of a significant jazz scene having existed for many years. It developed when a number of American jazz musicians such as Ben Webster, T had Jones, Richard Boone, Ernie Wilkins, Kenny Drew, Ed Thigpen, Bob Rockwell and others such as rock guitarist Link Wray came to live in Copenhagen during the 1960s.
Copenhagen nightlife
Nightlife in Copenhagen changes fast and starts late. Most clubs only begin to fill up around midnight. New clubs and bars spring up regularly. Some of the newer additions include: Subsonic, featuring a 'preserved' Bier Keller corner, a large dance floor and a perfect copy of a SAS lounge with original aircraft seats. The music is predominantly 80's dance. Also new is Fever in the old X-Ray club, which is a Hip hop and R&B club. A relaxed lounge area makes it a good place for an earlier start, with the dance floor picking up around midnight Friday/Saturday only.
